ClientOS: Accessibility
Last Updated: October 2026
Our Commitment
ClientOS is designed to be usable by everyone, including independent professionals who rely on assistive technology. We support all nine Apple accessibility features so that every user, regardless of ability, can manage clients, track commissions, and run their business.
Accessibility is not an add-on. It is built into every screen from the ground up.
Supported Accessibility Features
VoiceOver
ClientOS works with VoiceOver, the built-in screen reader on iPhone and iPad. Every button, field, and data element has a descriptive label so you can navigate the entire app, from managing clients to tracking commissions, without seeing the screen.
- Client lists announce name, status, and last interaction date
- Dashboard KPIs read out their value and trend
- Lead pipeline cards describe priority, estimated value, and days in status
- Charts provide data summaries, not just visual graphics
- Forms announce field labels, current values, and validation feedback
Voice Control
All buttons and controls have speakable labels, so you can navigate and enter data hands-free. This is useful when reviewing documents during a client meeting.
- Say "Tap Dashboard" or "Tap Clients" to switch tabs
- Say "Tap New Client" or "Tap Save" to trigger actions
- Form fields are named to match their visible labels
Larger Text
ClientOS supports Dynamic Type. All text, including client names, commission figures, form labels, and report data, scales with your preferred text size. Layouts adapt so nothing is cut off.
- We use Apple's Dynamic Type system. Text responds automatically to your Display & Text Size settings
- Layouts adapt at larger sizes so content remains readable and nothing is truncated
Dark Mode
ClientOS has a complete dark interface with a deep burgundy palette designed for comfortable use in low-light environments. You can choose System (automatic), Light, or Dark mode in the app's Settings.
Differentiate Without Colour Alone
Status indicators throughout the app combine colour, icon, and text label so information is never conveyed by colour alone:
- Client status: Checkmark (Active), Pause (Inactive), Star (VIP), Archive (Archived)
- Lead priority: Flame (Hot), Sun (Warm), Snowflake (Cold). Each with text label
- Business status: Clock (Pending), Arrow (In Progress), Seal (Issued), X (Cancelled)
- Calendar events: Phone (call), People (meeting), Envelope (email), Flag (reminder)
- All states remain distinguishable when viewed in greyscale
Sufficient Contrast
All text and UI elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast standards in both light and dark mode:
- Normal text meets a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1
- Large text and icons meet a minimum contrast ratio of 3:1
- Commission figures, client data, and status indicators are clearly readable in all lighting conditions
Reduced Motion
When Reduce Motion is enabled, ClientOS replaces spring animations and bouncing effects with simple cross-fades:
- Functional transitions (screen navigation, tab switching) remain smooth but minimal
- No looping animations play
- All content and functionality remains fully available. Only the motion is removed
Captions
ClientOS is a text-based CRM with no audio or video content. All AI-generated content (email drafts, lead scores, action suggestions) is presented as readable text. If multimedia features are added in the future, they will include full captions.
Audio Descriptions
There is no video content in ClientOS. Chart and graph data is available to VoiceOver as descriptive text summaries, ensuring all visual data insights are accessible to screen reader users.
How to Use Accessibility Features
These features work automatically with your device settings:
- VoiceOver: Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver
- Voice Control: Settings > Accessibility > Voice Control
- Larger Text: Settings > Display & Text Size > Larger Text
- Dark Mode: Settings > Display & Brightness > Dark (or in-app: More > Settings > Appearance)
- Reduce Motion: Settings > Accessibility > Motion > Reduce Motion
- Colour Filters: Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Colour Filters
- Differentiate Without Colour: Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Differentiate Without Colour
No configuration is needed within ClientOS. The app detects and responds to your system preferences.
